We are excited to announce that the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM – CSIC) actively participated in the annual Working Group on Nephrops Surveys (WGNEPS) meeting, held from November 10th to 13th, 2025, in Reykjavik Iceland.
This event, organized under the auspices of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES), which is the international coordination group for Nephrops underwater television and trawl surveys.
WGNEPS brought together approximately 30 leading experts in the field, fostering vibrant discussions and collaborative efforts to enhance our understanding and monitoring of Nephrops norvegicus populations.
ICM – CSIC contributed to this dynamic exchange with a presentation titled “Monitoring ecosystem restoration through the development of integrated ecological indicators: a case study from the Catalan continental shelf and slope within the REDRESS, LIFE ECOREST and DIGI4ECO projects”.
